Central American Blend - House Coffee for Restaurants and Cafés
A fragrant, satisfying house coffee blended from Brazil Cerrado and Costa Rican high-altitude Arabicas. The World Wide Fund for Nature named the Cerrado the biologically richest savanna in the world. These varieties of Mundo Novo, Yellow Catuai, Red Catuai and Acaia have their rich flavor enhanced by the region’s Terra Roxa (Red Earth) soil.
Grown on multiple farms at high altitudes in some of the finest growing regions of the world, these varieties are artfully combined to make an exceedingly rich, versatile coffee. The Cerrado is paired perfectly with Costa Rica Estate coffee grown at 6,000' altitude. We perform what we call a Harlequin Roast... a two-tone roast level with a Dark Base and 30% Light Roast.
Complex, delightful, with notes of caramel, butter, and chocolate, and a smooth finish. Served at fine restaurants and resorts as a premium house coffee that brings great reviews and repeat business.
We ship this coffee in whole bean only, in multiples of 17 pounds that ship economically by UPSP or UPS Ground. Roasted to order, please allow 2-3 business days for production.

The Araku Valley of India
India's coffee tradition goes back 400 years or more, when a variety called Kent was first established in the Southern Hills. Arabicas predominated until the blight of 1870, when growers needed to hybridize to resistant varieties. The resultant strains had genes from Liberica and other unique, resistant species.
