This is the Swiss Water Process version (all natural, no chemicals or solvents used!) of the popular El Recreo Jinotega Caturra. We invite people to pick out the decaf coffee from several choices in blind tastes tests featuring the SWP and other popular brands of NON-decaf coffees, and they usually cannot tell which is the decaf.
With a classic Central American profile, this coffee is very fragrant, lightly fruity, and has distinct buttery-sugar scent like a sweet roll. Perfect after dinner or for serving to guests.
Served with ice and creamer, this coffee takes on deep chocolate tones. An excellent candidate for serving Vietnamese style with condensed milk. The Medium Roast is well-balanced and naturally sweet and low in acid. The Deep Forest Roast has strong butter and dark chocolate tones.
My wife has a problem with caffeine and this is just the ticket. I use this to make her two cappuccinos every morning and she loves it. Keep up the good work of offering us excellent choices Len.
