Many years ago when the world was semi-sane, Trung Nguyen produced 2 whole bean espressos that were much-loved among our customers. The bold Espresso #1 was Arabica-based and chosen by cafés and customers as a "power" base for espresso drinks made with sweetened condensed milk or egg coffee, etc. TN discontinued these espressos in 2009 and we got tired of waiting for a comeback, so we are making them ourselves! Our re-creation of the Espresso #1 is even better than the original, and been a huge hit among customers and cafés - so much so, we are roasting it almost every day to keep up with the demand!

For lovers of the "Short Black" and the specialty coffee drink that needs a strong espresso base, look no further, we have your coffee here! The main base of Arabica Catuai/Bourbon is so sharp and rich, and the slight balance of Honey Robusta contributes to a stronger persistence than Arabica espresso alone can deliver.
