Nicaragua Alta de Jinotega

Astounding aroma and a classic Central American profile, this coffee is very fragrant, lightly fruity, earthy, and has a really strong dark chocolate finish. Perfect after dinner or for serving to guests. Truly a 5-star coffee, and Certified Organic by Mayacert and Fair Trade to boot! Just wonderful as an accompaniment to a meal or dessert.

Served with ice and creamer, this coffee takes on deep chocolate tones. An excellent candidate for serving Vietnamese style with condensed milk. The Medium Roast is well-balanced and naturally sweet and low in acid with strong butter and dark chocolate tones.

This farm belongs to a cooperative that shares their own milling and processing equipment. As with our Costa Rica farmers, this results in a freshness unlike any other. The co-op is located in a region known as 'The Coffee Triangle', at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level. Nicaragua’s northern region is the most fertile in the country, with volcanic soil and luxurious rainforests.

8 oz. Please choose whole bean or drip grind. Medium Roast.

The Araku Valley of India

India's coffee tradition goes back 400 years or more, when a variety called Kent was first established in the Southern Hills. Arabicas predominated until the blight of 1870, when growers needed to hybridize to resistant varieties. The resultant strains had genes from Liberica and other unique, resistant species.
